Terms of use
The rules for using Not On The Fridge: the briefs are free to read, print and share, your drawings stay yours, and you must be 13 or older to join our email list.
Draft for legal review, version 2026-10-23-draft. Last updated 23 October 2026. 4 points marked [TO CONFIRM] still need an answer.
1. Who we are
Not On The Fridge ("we", "us", "the site") publishes a free daily drawing brief. It is run by Ball of String Limited, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 17133708), 165 Angelica Drive, London E6 6NT. You can reach us at hello@notonthefridge.com.
By using the site you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.
2. Using the briefs
- Everything you can read on the site is free. You don't need an account.
- You may print the briefs and the printable PDFs for yourself, your family, your class or your club, and share links to them. Please keep our name and the link on anything you share.
- You may not sell the briefs, copy the site in bulk, or use it to train or build machine learning or AI tools without our written permission.
- Briefs are made for fun. Take care when drawing: use materials safely, and ask an adult if you're under 18 and unsure.
3. What is ours
The site, the briefs, our logo, our illustrations, the daily brief pictures and the PDFs belong to us or are used with permission. These terms give you the right to use them as described above and nothing more.
5. Our email list
- You must be 13 or older to join. Please use your own address.
- We use your email to write to you once, when accounts and posting open on Not On The Fridge, and for nothing else. If we ever want to send you anything else, we will ask you first. You can write to us at any time and we will remove you.
- The email is sent through our email provider, Resend.
6. Links and other websites
The site links to and may display content from other services, including Instagram, Facebook, Threads and Bluesky. Those services have their own terms and privacy policies, and we aren't responsible for them.
7. Our promises and our limits
We take reasonable care to run the site, but it is provided free of charge "as is". We don't promise it will always be available or free of mistakes, and we may change or remove it.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. Subject to that, we are not liable for loss that was not reasonably foreseeable, or for loss of profit or business. [TO CONFIRM WITH REVIEWER: limit of liability, given a mainly consumer audience that includes young people.]
Your legal rights as a consumer are not affected.
8. Copyright and complaints
If you believe something on the site infringes your copyright or is illegal, please email hello@notonthefridge.com with what it is, where it is, and why. We will look at it promptly and remove it if that is right. [TO CONFIRM WITH REVIEWER: notice and takedown wording, and any Online Safety Act duties that apply to a site with no user-generated content.]
If you have a complaint, email hello@notonthefridge.com first. We will reply within [TO CONFIRM: days].
9. Changes and law
We may change these terms, for example when we add features. The latest version is always on this page, and if a change matters we will say so on the site or by email.
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales decide disputes, although if you live elsewhere in the UK you may also use your local courts. [TO CONFIRM WITH REVIEWER.]
